Richard Degner
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Degner founded the company in June 2003, enabled by his strong following in the geophysical industry and 20 years experience managing and growing seismic firms.
Prior to founding Global Geophysical Services, Mr. Degner spent 3½ years building PGS Onshore around several hundred of the best people in the seismic business. Under Mr. Degner's leadership, PGS Onshore developed an excellent reputation as an innovative and high quality provider of land and TZ geophysical services. He successfully grew PGS Onshore's revenues from $15 million in 1999 to over $150 million in 2003.
Prior to PGS, Mr. Degner had an accomplished 16-year career with Western Geophysical, whom he joined in 1984 after earning degrees in both Geophysical and Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Since managing Western Geophysical's first land 3D seismic project in Latin America in 1985, Mr. Degner has designed and executed hundreds of land and transition zone 3D projects worldwide. He became the worldwide Land Product Line Leader for Western's industry leading, $600 million per year onshore and TZ seismic operation. He also served as Vice President of Western Hemisphere Operations. As the leader of the largest onshore seismic operation worldwide, Mr. Degner established a vast experience base and good reputation from oil and gas clientele throughout the world.
Mr. Degner graduated from Rice University's Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is an active member in the Society of Exploration Geophysics, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and an active board member of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors. Mr. Degner has served at Stanford University as board member on its "Earth Science Advisory Board", and at the Colorado School of Mines on its "Geophysical Advisory Board". He is an active member of Gerson Lerhman's council of Energy Advisors.

Mathew Verghese
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Verghese joined Global Geophysical in March 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Global, Mr. Verghese was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers. While at Lehman, he served as an Investment Manager and COO of the Lehman Energy Fund, a principal investments group specialized in debt and private equity investments to the energy sector.
Prior to Lehman, Mr. Verghese was a partner and CFO of Andersen Business Consulting. He also served as head of its venture capital efforts in North America, its corporate development group and its alliances and partnerships organization. Mr. Verghese was a member of the Executive Committee of its Global Leadership team.
Mr. Verghese has also led early-stage companies in the technology sector and is past-chairman of the Board of Advisors of the College of Technology at the University of Houston. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston with a major in Finance.

Jesse Perez III
Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Perez brings to the Company over 30 years of valuable experience in the geophysical industry. Mr. Perez started his career in 1980 with Western Geophysical (n/k/a WesternGeco, a business segment of Schlumberger), where he ultimately became SVP of Finance and Administration. Since leaving Western Geophysical in 1999 he has held CFO positions with Reservoir Technologies Inc., NuTech Energy Services, and since May 2004 he has held the office of CFO for Houston based Geotrace Technology, Inc. Mr. Perez is currently serving on the Board of the SEG's SEAM Corporation. He was a recipient of the Houston Business Journal's "Best CFO of the Year" award in 2008 and 2009. Mr. Perez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, and he is a CPA in the State of Texas.

Christopher P. Graham

Before joining Global Geophysical, Mr. Graham was a Partner with the firm of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Martin, PC, in Houston, Texas where he practiced law for the previous decade. Mr. Graham graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law Center, and has focused much of his successful legal career on business counseling, risk management and securities matters. He has substantial experience representing a broad spectrum of clients in energy, exploration and production, oilfield services, technology and maritime sectors, which he brings to the Global team.

Chris Usher
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Joining Global in January, 2010, Mr. Usher brings with him over two decades of experience as an accomplished leader in the fields of seismic data processing, imaging and data analysis. Having spent more than 20 years working internationally, he is well poised to further expand our Global presence.
Mr. Usher began his career in the seismic industry at Western Geophysical in field operations, and quickly progressed through the ranks to become the Vice President of Worldwide Technology and Vice President of Eastern Hemisphere Data Processing. In 2000, Mr. Usher moved to Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) as President of its global data processing division, overseeing operations and software development worldwide. From 2004 2005, he was Senior Vice President of Services worldwide for Paradigm. Most recently, Mr. Usher served as Senior Director at Landmark Software and Services, a division of Halliburton, from October 2005 January 2010. In this position, he was responsible for all software development, customer support and services.
Mr. Usher is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics. Mr. Usher is a director of Sensilaser Technologies Inc., and is a member of both the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).

Tom Fleure
Senior Vice President of Geophysical Technology

In his 21 years of service with Western Geophysical, and its successor WesternGeco, Mr. Fleure held several senior management positions in both technology and operations. Mr. Fleure's senior technology positions included Area Geophysicist for Eastern Hemisphere Land, Manager for Applied Technology Land and Special Projects, Project Manager for Survey Evaluation and Design and Manager of Acquisition Geophysics. Mr. Fleure's operations postings have included Managing Director of Western Atlas International Nigeria Ltd. from 1994-1996, Resident Manager of Saudi Arabia for Western Geophysical from 1992-1994 and Operations Manager for Western Hemisphere Marine.
Mr. Fleure has a broad understanding of exploration geophysics stretching from field parameter design through signal processing. Mr. Fleure's specific areas of research and in-depth study have included development of advanced vibroseis techniques and custom designs of explosives for application as seismic sources.
Mr. Fleure is the inventor or co-inventor on two patents in these research areas. Mr. Fleure graduated with scholastic honors and earned a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in December 1982.

Craig Lindberg
Senior Vice President - Strategic Inititives

Mr. Lindberg is a co-founder of Global Geophysical. Prior to joining Global, he spent his entire career in the food industry, working for both small private and large public corporations, most recently with Tyson Foods. He brings a valuable outside perspective to the company dialogue and in the design of financial, analytical, and marketing tools. Mr. Lindberg's expertise in consumer products combined with the seismic industry expertise of the Global senior management team effectively brings a value-added focus to the business.
Mr. Lindberg is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of the University of Houston and received an MBA from the Rice University Jones Graduate School of Management, where he received the Jones Scholar Award for Academic Excellence and finished first in his class.

Kirk Girouard
Vice President - Land Operations, Latin America

With over 20 years in the industry, Mr. Girouard's knowledge and reputation make him a strong and dependable leader, bringing professionalism and experience unparalleled in the industry. During his tenure at WesternGeco, Mr. Girouard acted as the Operations Manager for both United States Gulf Coast Operations and United States Land Seismic Operations. Mr. Girouard managed and consolidated separate operating divisions and increased productivity through a focused management team effort. At Western Geophysical, Mr. Girouard managed Latin American Seismic Operations and was responsible for approximately 165 employees and annual sales of $50 MM throughout Mexico, Central and South America. Mr. Girouard also acted as General Manager of Business in the Southern Cone areas including Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia.
Mr. Girouard's work in South America has given him invaluable international experience as well as a bilingual background. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, as well as several professional development certifications. He is also a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Duncan Riley

713-808-7278 Duncan has more than 25 years of experience in the seismic and oilfield services industry. He began his career with Western Geophysical and held key positions in Latin American and EAME. Duncan subsequently held several senior management roles within Western Geophysical, including General Manager for Applied Technology, General Manager of Western Hemisphere Marine Operations and General Manager of Marketing Research & Strategic Planning. Duncan directed the regulatory approval process that led to the creation of WesternGeco, the seismic services joint venture between Schlumberger and Baker Hughes. Duncan was later named Area Manager of WesternGeco's North & South America business unit. Thereafter, he moved to Schlumberger's Drilling & Measurements segment where he served as the assistant Marketing Manager for their worldwide MWD, LWD, Directional Drilling and Drill Bits business.
Duncan earned a B.S. degree in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines with minors in Geology and Computer Science, and an MBA from Rice University. He is a member of SEG, SPE, AAPG, HGS and GSH professional societies and serves as an active leader with the Sam Houston Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
Duncan is a founding member of Global and has served us faithfully in roles as VP US, and then VP of Worldwide Marine Operations before assuming the task of building Global Microseismic Services®, Inc.

Jeff Howell
Vice President - Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

For 23 years, Mr. Howell managed QHSE initiatives for industry leading Western Geophysical and WesternGeco. He held many in-field and area management positions, ultimately leading to Director of Worldwide QHSE. Mr. Howell had QHSE management authority over the world's largest land, marine and transition zone seismic organization and was instrumental in designing and implementing Western's safety and quality programs during the formative years of industrial safety programs. He also worked extensively for Schlumberger Oilfield Services as a United States Land QHSE manager, and as the North and South American (NSA) QHSE training coordinator.
Mr. Howell's broad understanding of QHSE management systems and his exceptional relationships with people will ensure that the Company has an expedient and comprehensive rollout of their new QHSE management system. He has lived, worked and traveled in many countries throughout West Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Far East, Former Soviet Union and Latin America. Mr. Howell has a close relationship with the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) and has served on the IAGC Health, Safety, and Environmental Steering Committee and the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (OGP) Health and Safety Committee.

Barry Weinman
President - Weinman GeoScience Division

Mr. Weinman joined Global as President of Weinman GeoScience, Global's division for seismic data processing and Interpretation analysis. Mr. Weinman is a 35 year exploration veteran. In 1975 he joined Mobil Oil Corporation as an interpretation geophysicist. He conducted various exploration assignments for Mobil in domestic and international basins where he had several hydrocarbon discoveries. In 1980 Barry joined Hunt Oil Company working US mid-continent, West Texas, Rocky Mountains, Gulf Coast and International assignments. In 1983 Mr. Weinman founded Weinman GeoScience, Inc, a seismic interpretation company that later expanded to include seismic processing, AVO analysis, and depth migration studies worldwide with offices in Dallas, Houston, Denver, and Mumbai, India. Weinman GeoScience's success continued with multiple hydrocarbon discoveries for clients.
Mr. Weinman is past president of the Dallas Geophysical Society, having previously served on the executive committee for several years. He was awarded a DGS Life Membership in recognition of his many years of service to the geophysical community. Barry is a member of Society Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Mr. Weinman has taught several courses on seismic interpretation and AVO analysis, given poster papers, and lectured on depth migration at national conventions. Mr. Weinman was Vice-General Chairman of The 1997 SEG International Convention and the 2003 SEG Sponsorship chairman.
Mr. Weinman received an Undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Geophysics from Penn State University. Mr. Weinman is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in the state of Texas.

Larry Scott
Vice President - Multi Client Sales

Mr. Scott began his career with Western Geophysical in 1979 as a marine seismic data processor, and later transferred to the marine operations group. During the mid-80's his interests turned to the technical aspects of seismic exploration, and he took up senior geophysicist roles in R&D and Applied Technology within Western Geophysical's research division. During this period he became heavily involved in navigation and positioning technology for marine 3D surveys, and developed the industry's first onboard navigation post-processing system. He has managed a wide variety of operations, including conventional 2D, 3D, and 4D streamer as well as ocean bottom cable (OBC) and transition zone (TZ) operations.
Since leaving Western Geophysical in 2000, Mr. Scott has served as Vice President of EAME Marine Acquisition for Veritas DGC, Senior Vice President of GX Technology's Integrated Seismic Solutions (ISS) business segment, and most recently as President of Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping Inc., a division of OHM Ltd. headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Mr. Scott graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas and is an active member of SEG, EAGE, AAPG, GSH and PESGB.

Norman H. Pedersen, II

Mr. Pedersen has 30 years of experience worldwide and throughout all disciplines of the seismic industry. He
began his career in the seismic industry in 1980 with Western Geophysical (n/k/a WesternGeco, a business
segment of Schlumberger), in Dhahran Saudi Arabia, working in the Aramco Processing Center, where he
ultimately became Processing Supervisor. In 1985, Mr. Pedersen joined the field operations as QC/APM and
worked throughout several of the Saudi oil fields in Tanzania. In 1986, he was assigned to Latin American
operations as a Party Manager in Peru. Mr. Pedersen served as Field Supervisor in Colombia and Argentina, and, in 1991, became the Operations Manager for Nigeria operations. He then served as Country Manager for Nigeria, Colombia and Argentina before moving to Houston as the Latin America Operations Manager. Mr.
Pedersen joined Global in 2006 as Operations Manager, worldwide marine, overseeing operations in India, the
Gulf of Mexico, Mexico and Colombia. He then transitioned to Operations Manager for the Latin America division helping Global operate in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, and he is currently holding the position of General Manager for the EAME (Europe, Africa, and Middle East) division.

Marc A. Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence currently serves as our Vice President, Gulf of Mexico, after he joined in 2010 as the Offshore Multi-Client Manager, bringing over 30 years of experience worldwide and throughout all disciplines of the seismic industry, as business activities have taken him around the world including South East Asia, North and South America, Australia, China, Russia and throughout Europe. Mr. Lawrence began his seismic career in 1977, when he joined Fairfield Industries, Inc., a privately held geophysical service company, as a Geophysicist and operated marine seismic crews in Indonesia, Brazil, the South Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. He was promoted to Vice President in 1984 and became Senior Vice President in 1993, being appointed to the Board of Directors the same year. Mr. Lawrence has received both his BS and MS degrees in Geology from the University of Florida, where he has been active in alumni activities. He served as a U.S. Army artillery officer in Vietnam (1968-1969) and was highly decorated for valor in combat being awarded the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart and the Air Medal. Mr. Lawrence is on the Executive Advisory Board of the World Energy Group and on the Board of IAGC (International Association of Geophysical Contractors), where he previously served as the Chairman of the Board. He is active with NOIA (National Ocean Industries Association) and IPAA (Independent Petroleum Association of America). Mr. Lawrence is a certified Geophysicist licensed by the Board of Professional Geoscientists of the state of Texas, a member of the Petroleum Club of Houston, and a benefactor of the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
